First, let me start out by saying Eagle Teleconferencing is Awesome! I recently was supposed to catch a flight to our companies other location in Houston. I had a rather long layover in Atlanta when they announced my flight had been cancelled. I had to call my boss and tell them I would not be able to make it. While it was terrible that I was stuck in the airport and not able to make it. Eagle really pulled through for us. My company uses audio conferencing every week. We hold meetings and lectures and sometimes people that need to be in the call can't be due to other appointments. So we have recently started recording our conference calls and playing them back at a different date/time that is conveniant for the people that have missed the original call. When it is time for my call the Eagle operator calls me and the group of people that I am interviewing and puts us on a call together. This keeps anyone and everyone from coming on to your conference calls after the conference calls have started! All you have to do is press*7 and your conference call is in security mode. Eagle Teleconferencing has a great feature that my company uses sometimes for our conference calls. They call it a dial out. I would not recommend entry & exit tones on conference calls that have 100 or more lines. I made the mistake and requested both entry & exit tones on my conference call that had 200 lines reserved and all I heard was beeping the whole entire conference call which is not good when you're trying to give a presentation. I made sure that right after the conference call was over that I called Eagle Teleconferencing and had the tones removed.

I was on a huge conference call last night and there was a lot of noise. The moderators of the conference call kept saying to hit *6 on your phone to mute your line. This is a great idea for conference calls. I think on my next conference call I will have to try this. I know there is an option to mute the whole conference call but I think the moderators wanted to keep the whole conference call open. Moderators can hit *5 to mute out the whole conference call and then they can speak without any noise. I do like this feature also but to keep an open conference call *6 sounds good. I am going to try this on my conference call tonight.

I have had a conference line with Eagle teleconferencing for several years now. As a matter of fact, I have three conference lines. I can't begin to tell you how many conference calls I have hosted. I have been checking into the audio podium & web conferencing features. I have most of my calls recorded & always requested cd's to be delivered. Now I'm thinking that audio podium might be the answer. If someone can't attend a conference call, I can give them the number to call in & listen any time that is convenient for them.

When we call to set up a conference line sometimes we don't know how many people to expect to be on the call. If we need to add more lines in the middle of a call we know we can call into Eagle and they will add more lines as often as we call in. And if we need to have a pin number changed a few hours before the call then they will also do that for us as well. There are a number of things that may need changed or that could go wrong during a conference call and it is a real comfort knowing that there is a staff member at Eagle there at all times to make sure your call goes as smoothly as possible.

Eagle conference calls have done it again! I was supposed to schedule a conference call for my boss and some of her co-workers. They needed a conference call today at 3:00 pm EST. I realized at 2:00 pm that I still had not set up the conference call but as far as my boss knew it was set up and ready to go.
