I know that sometimes when I call into a conference call there are a lot of other things going on in my office. So I use this feature for all conference calls. And its easy. I only have to press *6 on my phone and that mutes my line. I can still hear what is going on in the conference call, but they can't hear me, but if for some reason I need to unmute my line I can by pressing *6 again.

I do recommend if you are a speaker or moderator that you use lecture mode. This is great for noisy conference calls. All you do is press *5 on your phone and this mutes all the participants in the conference call. This is great because you can speak without all that noise but you can only use this feature if you are a speaker or moderator. Then to take it out of lecture mode you just press *5 again. You also have to make sure that you use speaker or moderator code when dialing into the conference call line. Great feature for noisy conference calls!

I was in the middle of hosting an important call to all our new employees the other day, which was our first ever teleconference call, and there was alot of disruptive backround noises. When all callers using the conferee/caller pin dial in to the conference call they will hear hold music while they are waiting for the moderator to join the conference call. I have come to find that it is quite hard sometimes working around people's busy schedules. With Audio Podiums you can have your call recorded and then placed on a 24/7 voicemail box. People who were not able to attend the teleconference can then dial in at their own conveince.

I also got an IP address. So as the moderator of the call I can log onto the Internet and I am able to see all the lines that have called into my call. We requested a transcription of a conference call from Eagle Teleconferencing. Everything that is said in the conference call is typed word for word. We use this on our conference calls so we can keep track of topics on our meetings. It is also a good idea in case someone happens to miss the conference call meeting. While I was on the phone with Eagle Teleconferencing setting it up I was able to email them the record form that was needed to get the conference call recorded. It was so quick and easy. Our company has large conference calls with Eagle Teleconferencing and as the moderator on the call whenever there is a problem I just hit *5 and it mutes all the participants. This is a great feature for moderators on conference calls.

I recently attended a seminar over the phone. It was a conference call that was set up by Eagle Teleconferencing, I didn't even realize that these types of calls existed. It was very easy too. There where 3 speakers and each one of them did their lecture and after each lecture the call opened up to the listeners to ask questions by just pressing 1 on the phone, so not every person was talking at once. Conference calls can be completely secured by you! When talking to the reservationist at Eagle Teleconference tell them that you would like security on your conference calls! This keeps anyone and everyone from coming on to your conference calls after the conference calls have started! All you have to do is press*7 and your conference call is in security mode. Then to take it out of security mode press *7 again. It's great for all those really private conference calls!

My first year working at a new company I had taken a vacation. The second day I called in to make sure everything was still going as planned. This is a great service to use because if some people missed the original conference then they really haven't missed anything because they can just listen to the playback.
